Occasionally, we may offer promotions and discounts to our customers. Please note that we reserve the right to terminate any offer at our discretion, without prior notice. In the event of an error, we reserve the right to invalidate any discounts or offers that were applied in error. While we take utmost care to ensure that the information displayed on our website is accurate, we cannot guarantee that it is free from errors.
Please note that if multiple offers are available, they cannot be combined.
Please be aware that although we strive to maintain consistency, we cannot guarantee that the product’s colour will precisely match what is displayed on our website. The images presented on our website, and other promotional materials are intended solely for illustrative purposes.
Please be aware that all of our products are custom-made and tailored to your specific measurements. As a result, we are unable to accept any returns or cancellations once you have paid your first instalment, as production will have already begun at this point. If you do wish to cancel your order, please send an email to info@day-and-knight.co.uk. Please note that we will retain your first instalment to cover the cost of materials and labour.
You will be sent a final job confirmation which we will ask you to sign off. After this point, you cannot make any changes to your design.
If you believe that your goods are faulty or damaged, we will ask for photo evidence to determine the cause and issue a replacement if necessary. Please keep in mind that we cannot be held responsible for defects resulting from improper care and damage caused by a third-party.
Our fitters are employees of DAY & KNIGHT. Therefore, your furniture will arrive on the same day as the installation by the fitter assigned to your job. We agree to supply and fit the goods at the site, unless stated otherwise above/overleaf. If the supply or fitting of the goods is delayed by any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will inform you and arrange an alternative date.
We cannot be held liable for delay or failure to complete the works caused by events beyond our control. In such cases, we will complete the works as soon as reasonably possible. In some cases, we receive parts from 3rd party suppliers and we may need to reorder those parts and adhere to their timeframes and this is out of our control.
Please ensure that the fitter has clear and safe access to the site at reasonable times (between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm on weekdays) or as agreed by you and us. If you wish to postpone your installation date, please give DAY & KNIGHT six weeks’ notice, and email us at info@day-and-knight.co.uk. If you need to reschedule within six weeks this may incur a charge if we cannot refill your slot.
We cannot be held responsible for any damages occurred to items left in the room or damages incurred while working around items left in the room. If we need to move items on our arrival, we will endeavour to move them safely but cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred.
Our materials are supplied at a max width of 2700mm. Any units over 2700mm will require a join. We will place this in the best place possible but it will usually be centred.
Our fitters are able to extend/move wires to move plug sockets however we do not offer a warranty or guarantee, if you would prefer for a professional to under go these works then please arrange this service, we do not have a provider.
If the area where the installation is to take place has carpeting, please ensure that the carpet is lifted and that there is enough space for the installation. After the installation is complete, the carpet will need to be refitted. Please note that DAY & KNIGHT will not cover the cost of refitting the carpet. If the carpet is not lifted or there is not enough space to work, we cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur.
DAY & KNIGHT fitters will have the correct protective equipment for your home; however, we highly recommend painting and decorating after our fitters install your wardrobes. During the installation process, the wood may get cut in the installation room and because bespoke furniture fitting involves a lot of customisations, it can result in minor marks and require some repairs to be covered by the customer.
We accept payment via major credit and debit cards.
After the customer has received the invoice and decides to proceed, DAY & KNIGHT will require 30% of the total invoice cost. One week before the installation, we will require 60% of the invoice total. Finally, we will require the remaining 10% upon completion.
Sharing our customer content plays a significant role in the success of our company and showcases your design. This means we may reach out to you to share your social media content.
By agreeing to participate, you are permitting us to use your handle, images, and/or videos on day-and-knight.co.uk and affiliated social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or any other DAY & KNIGHT marketing materials. We may also edit, crop, adapt, enhance, or modify the Content as needed.
You confirm that you have obtained the consent of everyone in your content, and they are 16 or older (if it contains people). If you or anyone in the Content requests us to remove the Content, we will remove it from the social media accounts that we control.
