Bay windows are a brilliant place for creating additional storage space in your home and yet many people fail to optimise this space. Why not consider installing a bespoke bay window seat with ample storage built in for your possessions?
A Bespoke Fitted Bay Window Seat
We were asked to design and build a storage unit that fitted beneath this bay window for a client living in Berkshire. Unfortunately we only have a low resolution photo of this project on file, but you can find similar projects on our Instagram channel.
The excellent build quality of our window seats is strong enough to stand up to the toughest of uses. Adding a few cushions on top and it can serve as a great additional seating area when required.
Alternatively, a storage unit like this can act as a coffee table or side table (if left without cushions). When left as a white table (and uncluttered), it will bounce more light into the room. Air vents can be added to allow heat from radiators to pass through (as shown here).
