Bespoke Cupboard Hallway Design: A Full Height, Four-Section Hallway Unit
We developed these luxury, bespoke, full length and full height hallway cupboards spanning the entire width of the wall. Split into four sections, the composition provides clear zones for different family needs, making day-to-day organisation more straightforward. A key feature is the over-door set of cupboards, which turns an often-overlooked area into practical storage and ensures every inch of the wall works hard.
Careful templating allowed us to scribe to existing surfaces for a fitted, built-in appearance. The contemporary shaker door style delivers a clean, timeless character, with proportional rails and stiles that sit comfortably alongside the home’s architectural lines. Door heights align neatly for a crisp rhythm that reads as part of the house rather than an add-on.
Finish and Style: Porcelain White with Brass Details
The cabinetry is finished in Porcelain White, a shade that reflects light from the hallway’s side window to keep the area feeling bright and open. This colour quietly complements the oak flooring, creating a harmonious backdrop that doesn’t compete with existing features. The result is a refined, contemporary look that remains warm and inviting.
To complete the design, we specified Victorian-style knobs in an elegant satin brass finish. These handles offer a traditional note that pairs perfectly with shaker doors and ties in with the home’s overall aesthetic. The subtle sheen adds a touch of sophistication without overwhelming the calm palette.
Space Maximised: Over-Door Cupboards and Smart Interiors
The integrated over-door cupboards make excellent use of typically wasted space, ideal for seasonal items or bulkier pieces that should be accessible but kept out of sight. Inside the main sections, we planned the layout around daily family life: dedicated hanging space for coats and school bags, adjustable shelves for toys and accessories, and upper compartments for items used less frequently.
Quality hardware, including soft-close hinges and runners, ensures quiet, smooth operation—perfect for a busy household. By designing from the inside out, we created storage that supports routines, helping the family find what they need quickly and put things away just as easily.
